Friends
Yesterday our friends, the Soupal's, came into town. We met up with them to take the kids swimming. It was nice to visit with friends. Cassidy was quite tired! She and Drew did some playing, splashing, and swimming.
Update
We have been busy here...my brother, Josh, was home on leave so he spent a few days with us. He and Cassidy became good buddies. We went to visit my Grandma and introduce her to Cailin. It was a nice visit.
Lucas had to go to a conference this week, so Cassidy had to go to swim lessons with Grandpa Hart. She did very well adjusting to a new swim buddy. She has her last waterbabies class next week.
Happy Leap Day!

Family
We had a lovely weekend with our family. My parents came up from Kentucky, my brother is home on leave, and Lucas' brother and his wife came home too. On Sunday we had Cailin's baptism, which went very well. She didn't cry at all and was wide awake through the service. The church service was very nice, but a little long as there were two baptisms and communion, but it went well. After church, we went to Lucas' aunt and uncles house for brunch. It was a nice gathering of family. The whole day was lovely...then Cassidy became the Warrior Princess when she thought it would be funny to run away from Daddy and run straight into the corner of a wall. She has a rather nice wound on the corner of her eye. The swelling has gone down, but now the eye area is black and blue. Needless to say...it was a pretty exciting day!

A Brand New Day
Our first official blog! Let's get started...so far 2008 has been a blessed year. We have our beautiful daughter Cassidy. She is nearly 18 months old, and quite the little lady. She is a bundle of energy and full of personality. On January 21, 2008 at 9:54am we were blessed with another daughter, Cailin Marie. She weighed 5lbs. 15 oz. and was 18 inches long. She is a wonderful baby. We have been blessed with two lovely girls!
Here's to 2008!
