Easter

Well...it has been a week since our lovely Easter festivities. I apologize for the delay!

Easter was quite nice this year. We enjoyed coloring eggs with Cassidy. She enjoyed going on an Easter egg hunt. I am not quite sure she understood what we were doing but she smiled and laughed, which is all that matters. We enjoyed a beautiful Easter service and had Easter dinner and Mom and Dad Hart's. It was relaxing day, which was nice. Here are some pictures of our Easter adventures.

Spring

I cannot wait for Spring to arrive, and today it seems that it is just around the corner. It is sunny and 50 today! The girls and I were outside for a bit this morning. We met Aunt Vicki, helped her put Easter eggs in her shrubs for decoration, then drove to Flint to visit Ingrid and Waltraud. We had a lovely visit with Ingrid, Waltraud, and Bob. They made a yummy lunch! We had a beautiful mixed green salad with homemade mac 'n cheese. It was very good. We had a lovely visit.

Hopefully, the weather will stay nice this weekend so we can be outside!

Have a happy day!

And the days go on...

This week has been rather busy...with what I am not exactly sure, but it seems to have flown by...maybe I don't remember because of Momnesia! Lucas and I went to the Pistons Game on Tuesday. We were joined by our friends Ryan Barber and Tricia Kern. Lucas received tickets from one of his insurance companies...they were awesome tickets. We were so close to court...about 5 rows behind the statistician area. It was pretty neat to be so close to all thos players. It was a nice evening for us to be out with other adults!
Cassidy had her final swim lesson on Wednesday and received a certificate.
(Cassidy's certificate)

I had my 6 week check-up with doctor. It is hard to believe that Cailin is already 6 weeks old. The time has flown by and she is growing by leaps and bounds. She has started grinning in response to me and she tries to make noises. I think she will be our quieter child. She enjoys watching Cassidy run around.

Cassidy is definitely outgoing. She loves to sing, dance, and run around. She has recently started playing Hide-n-Seek. She hides behind the bathroom door or the door to her room and waits for us to find her. She is quite the ham! We had a silly experience yesterday...Cassidy grabbed the baby powder and before I could get it; she squeezed the bottle and powder went all over her and the bathroom counter. That was fun to clean up!

This weekend should be fun. We will be meeting up with our friends Kim, Joe, and Addison. They recently moved to the Kalamazoo area from Frankenmuth. The girls and I really miss spending time with Kim and Addison. It will be nice to see them.
Have a beautiful day!

Cailin

Cailin was very excited when she could see the fire in the fireplace. She just started moving around and trying to talk.

Dishes

Here is Cassidy being very helpful and washing dishes!

Weekend

We had a weekend of visiting...on Saturday we went to Harrison Twp. to visit with Grandma Shunk. It was the first time she met Cailin, so it was good to introduce them. Cassidy had a blast running around Grandma's condo. She likes to run around the kitchen/living room area. She also liked playing on Grandma's computer!

On Sunday we went to Lucas' parents house for our weekly dinner (we like to call it FFF or Forced Family Fun!) It is always nice to meet up with family and let the girls interact with someone other than Lucas and I. Cassidy and Cailin get spoiled when family is around! Cassidy enjoys doing the dishes with Aunt Vicki and Grandpa. She moves the chair over to the sink and starts working! Cassidy was also helping Uncle Caleb do his laundry...after all that hardwork he gave her a lift up the stairs.

This week we can look forward to Cassidy's final waterbabies class. She seems to enjoy her swim classes and special time with Daddy. I think we will look into another class for spring. Cailin and I enjoy watching Cassidy and Lucas swimming.

I have my 6 week check-up. It is hard to believe that Cailin is 6 weeks old! The time goes so fast.

Have a great day!
