Spring 2008 - Pictures

We are doing well. The nicer weather of Spring has been wonderful. The girls and I try to go to the park and be outside as much as possible. Cassidy loves to take walks and run around. She enjoys playing on the playgrounds at our local parks. She is getting so big, so fast.

Cailin is getting so big. She loves to watch the world go round...she especially loves to watch her crazy sister! I can't believe she is 4 months old! Cailin loves to sit in her Bumbo and just started playing in her exersaucer.

At the park - Cassidy's favorite place to be!

Rockin' their new sunglasses

She loves to be "sitting up" in her Bumbo and exersaucer.

It's been awhile...

Due to some technical difficulties I haven't been able to post...hopefully we have overcome those difficulties, so here it goes...

We have been busy this Spring. Our girls are growing so fast. Cailin will be 4 months and Cassidy is 21 months in May. Everyday they do something new. It is amazing to watch their accomplishments and milestones.

Cassidy is getting so big. She is quite the big girl. Cassidy just graduated to a big girl bed. We got her a cute toddler bed. After a short adjustment period she is doing wonderfully. Cassidy loves to draw, color, and paint. She is also loving to be outside, especially since the days are getting nice!

Cailin is enjoying being a supported sitter. She still leans quite a a bit, but she loves to sit up and watch the world around her. She also loves to "stand." Cailin is quite the happy girl...always smiling and a "talking."

We have been busy keeping the house in order since it is up for sale. My parents came up from Kentucky for Mother's Day weekend and Dad (and Lucas) put in a new laminate floor in our living room. It looks a lot nicer than the carpet that was in there. I have been busy painting bedrooms and our bathroom with the help of Lucas' aunt. It was a time consuming project trying to paint and take care of the girls. The girls were very patient with me and Cassidy helped me paint, which was quite the adventure. We only had to throw out one set of clothes...

Now we are entering into wedding season. We have a couple in June then nothing until September. This is a welcome change from the last couple years...I enjoy weddings, but it seems to be a lot more difficult organizing a babysitter and all that jazz...

We are looking forward to our trip to Tennessee this summer. We will be going to the Smoky's in July. We will be hiking Mt. LeConte, doing some day hikes, and camping. I am really looking forward to our trip.

Sadly, this weekend we will be saying good bye to Lucas' Uncle Terry. He is being re-deployed to Iraq for 7 months. He leaves May 18th. We will be keeping him in our thoughts and prayers until he safely returns.

That is all for now...I will be updating with some pictures ASAP!

Have a beautiful day!
